After being introduced as the honourable members and thanked for gracing the township with their presence, the local Veterans shook each one of the members hands.
"I think its important for the kids to recognise the service of councillors and politicians, thats why we are in the front row every ANZAC day" said one proud parent.
"The only thing thats missing is their achievements, but I guess we remember them during our minute of silence so it kind of makes up for it"
This year was a fantastic turnout for the honourable members who out numbered the Veterans 8:1.
"Im proud to thank them individually" said Jason who himself attended a battle of his own in Afghanistan.
